Deine Mission:
Als Vice President Technology (gn) bist du federführend an der Gestaltung des achitektonischen Rückgrats unserer SaaS-Plattform beteiligt. Durch das Einbringen deines technischen Wissens, entwickelst du eine zukunftsorientierte Technologie-Roadmap unnd befähigst deine Teams, die entsprechenden technologischen Initiativen umzusetzen.

Unser Büro in Leipzig befindet sich in direkter Zentrumslage und fußläufig nur 1,5 km vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt.		Berlin
Unser Büro in Berlin befindet sich nur 1,5 km vom Tiergarten entfernt und ist somit in idealer Zentrumslage.


Deine Aufgabenbereiche
  • Du bist disziplinarische:r Leiter:in unseres Technology-Bereichs, welcher aus fünf Teams besteht (u.a. Machine Learning, Data Migration, Ops, Architecture)
  • Du verantwortest die architektonische Konzeption und Umsetzung rund um unser powercloud SaaS Produkt
  • Du gestaltest und pflegst kontinuierlich die technologische Vision des Unternehmens, einschließlich dem Aufsetzen einer Tech-Roadmap sowie deren Aufschlüsselung für die betroffenen Teams (in Abstimmung mit dem CTO) und stellst deren Umsetzung in der gesamten Organisation sicher
  • Du trägst mit deinem Fachwissen zur gesamten Architekturlandschaft bei (z.B. API Management, Event Management, Identity & Access Management, Multi-Tenancy Approach, ...)
  • In Abstimmung mit deinen Teams und anderen Stakeholdern pflegst und kommunizierst du die unternehmensweite Architekturgrundlage, Standards und technische Richtlinien für die gesamte Organisation. Du stellst sicher, dass diese Richtlinien im gesamten Unternehmen bekannt sind und deren Einhaltung überwacht werden kann
  • Du trägst als Teil des Führungsteams zu einem zukunftsorientierten Produktdesign und zu neuen Arbeitsweisen bei (z. B. Developer Guild), einschließlich der Teilnahme als Stakeholder im Product Board
Unsere Anforderungen
  • Du verfügst über umfangreiche Führungserfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung in Form von direkter Mitarbeitendenführung sowie Führung von Führungskräften (oder in einer vergleichbaren Position)
  • Du konntest bereits nachweisliche Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Wachstum, Coaching, Mentoring und Feedback für Teammitglieder sammeln
  • Du hast mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Leitung und Umsetzung von großen IT-Projekten in der agilen Umgebung
  • Du bringst ausgeprägtes Wissen in der Softwareentwicklung mit Java oder/und PHP sowie fundiertes Know-how in AWS Cloud und Infrastruktur Hosting & Deployment mit
  • Du zeichnest dich durch deine sehr guten analytischen und konzeptionellen Kompetenzen sowie hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch aus

  • MySQL und MariaDB bzw. AuroraDB

Your mission:
As Vice President Technology (gn), you take the lead in shaping the architectural backbone of our SaaS platform. By contributing your technical knowledge, you develop a future-oriented technology roadmap and enable your teams to execute the respective technological initiatives.

At our innovative IT campus in Achern, our headquarters, we combine modern work and sustainable living on the edge of the Black Forest.		Leipzig
The office in Leipzig is within walking distance, in a direct central location, only 1.5 km from the main train station with excellent connections to the public transport network.		Berlin
Our Berlin office is located only 1.5 km from the Tiergarten, and thus in an ideal central location.
Your responsibilities
  • You are the disciplinary lead for the technology department, consisting of five teams (incl. Machine Learning, Data Migration, Ops, Architecture)
  • You are responsible for the architectural design and implementation of our powercloud SaaS product
  • You continuously shape and maintain the technological vision of the company, including setting up a tech roadmap and its breakdown for the impacted teams (in alignment with the CTO) and ensure its implementation across the entire powercloud organization
  • You contribute with your expertise to the overall architecture landscape (e.g. API Management, Event Management, Identity & Access Management, Multi-Tenancy Approach, …)
  • In alignment with your teams and other stakeholders you maintain and communicate the company-wide architecture foundation, standards and technical guidelines for the whole organization. You ensure that these guidelines are known throughout the company and that adherence can be monitored
  • You contribute as part of the leadership team towards a future-oriented product design and to new ways of working (e.g., Developer Guild), including participation as a stakeholder in the Product Board
Our requirements
  • You provide extensive leadership experience in software development in terms of leading people directly and leading leaders (or a comparable position)
  • You have a proven track record in growth, coaching, mentoring and feedback for team members
  • You have several years of experience in leading and implementing large IT projects in the agile environment
  • You have a strong background in Software Development with Java and/or PHP as well as profound know-how in AWS Cloud and infrastructure hosting & deployment
  • You stand out with very good analytical and conceptual competencies as well as superior communication skills in German and English
